Born in Dordrecht, The Netherlands and now living in Amersfoort.
I'm a 25 year old surrealist expressionism artist, of Algerian and Serbian descent. My background shapes my artistic perspective, giving me a broad range of influences to explore in my work.
My art focuses on the complex relationship between technology, artificial intelligence, and their impact on human life. Through acrylic paintings and installation art, I examine themes of identity, societal change, and the dilemmas that come with rapid technological progress. My goal is to spark conversation and reflection on how we navigate an increasingly digital world.
Acrylic paint is my primary medium, which allow for spontaneous expression and intricate layering. I often use fluid acrylics to create translucent glazes, adding depth and richness to my compositions. This technique helps me contrast organic shapes with structured, geometric patterns, reflecting the intersection of human nature and artificial constructs.
Recurring elements in my work include fragmented human and robotic figures, circuit-like designs, and abstract depictions of neural networks. These motifs highlight the blurred boundaries between biological and artificial intelligence, prompting viewers to consider where one ends and the other begins. I use bold color contrasts to emphasize both the tension and harmony in this merging of worlds.
Ultimately, my art is an invitation to reflect on how AI and technology shape our personal lives and collective consciousness. I hope to encourage deeper discussions about our evolving place in this fast-changing landscape.
